Glossybox February 2014

This month my Glossybox came a bit later than usual. Since February was such a short month, I actually received my box on the first day of March! But it was well worth the wait-all but one item came full sized!!

I am always excited to try new brands of nail polish, especially when they are 5-free, cruelty-free, and vegan-friendly! I'm not typically a light pink polish kind of girl, but this is a very lovely shade.

 

PUREOLOGY SERIOUS COLOUR CARE (COLOUR FANATIC Multi-Tasking Hair Beautifier for Color-Treated Hair)

Deluxe Size (1 fl oz)-$3.58 Value!

This product sounds amazing since it provides 21 benefits to color-treated hair. Unfortunately my hair isn't color-treated, but I have been wanting to dye my hair red again for a while now. Guess I should give it a go, so I can try this product out!

 

SUMITA BEAUTY (Kala Color Intense Pencil)

Full Size (0.06 oz)-$15.00 Value!

 

As you all know by now, I am an eyeliner junkie! I just can not get enough. I have a few black pencils in my collection, but that doesn't stop me from going crazy over this liner!! I just love it-it glides on smoothly and is very pigmented! This is hands down my favorite item in this month's box!

 

ANATOMICALS (Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer Wake Up Under Eye Patches)

This was the only item I was disappointed to see in my box. While I really enjoyed the body cleanser I received in my December Glossybox, I'm not so keen on receiving under eye patches since I don't really have a problem with puffy eyes. Plus these type of products don't do much to eliminate the problem. I encourage anyone looking for solutions on how to eliminate puffy eyes to read this article on the causes of puffy eyes and ways to treat them.

 

FIGS & ROUGE (Tinted Lip Balm in Cherry Blossom)

 I love lip balms, so I was ecstatic to get this in my box! The design reminds me of a tube of hand lotion, which is kind of unique. And the colors of the packaging remind me of spring, so looking at it makes me happy. The light Cherry Blossom scent is really nice and the balm feels nice on my lips.

Total Value: $56.58!

Glossybox December 2013

Today I am so excited to share with you my December Glossybox! I haven't had a chance to try all the products in the box, but I wanted to get this post out before the end of December.  Enjoy!!

I've always heard that these boxes were of a much higher quality than Birchbox. Still, I was quite surprised and impressed with the quality of the box when I received it in the mail! The pale pink box is very sturdy-I'm not surprised many people reuse the boxes for storage or gift wrapping.

I was anticipating getting the famous Glossybox magazine, only to just find a booklet with the product information. I'm not sure if Glossybox is discontinuing the printed issue of the magazine, but you can still access the magazine online via their website.

NAILS INC. (Victoria Polish)

 For a polish addict such as myself, you may be surprised to hear I've never tried this brand!! I've known of it for quite some time, and I've been meaning to check it out though I've never gotten around to it. So I am super excited to get a full size in my box! I will do a separate post on this with swatches for you guys later!!

 

ANATOMICALS (You Need A Blooming Shower!)

At first I thought this might be a full size product due to it's large size, but it turns out it's half of a full size. But this is such a generous sample size and I already know I love this body cleanser from only one use! It smells divine-the rose scent is so luxurious and you can't beat the price for the amount of product you get!! I am definitely interested in trying other products from this line!!

 

NAOBAY (Oxygenating Cream Moisturizing)

While I already have my own skincare routine, I now like getting sample skincare products for use at the gym or my boyfriend's house! Plus, this is another generous sample size-it's more than half the full size!

 

DR. HUNTER'S ORIGINAL REMEDIES (Rosewater and Glycerine Hand Creme)

Another rose scented product! I am loving this hand crème so far-the scent is so pretty and it's a great size to keep in my clutch! The only thing I dislike about this product is the packaging-the lettering isn't centered on the tube.

 

 

MICHAEL TODD TRUE ORGANICS (Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Facial Mask)

I was so excited when I saw I would be receiving this product in my first Glossybox! I had received their Jojoba Charcoal Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub in a former Ipsy bag and really liked it. I'm so happy that I now get the chance to try the mask!!

Value: $54.54!
