Glossybox March 2014

This month I was excited to see my Glossybox arrive a bit earlier than expected! Some of the box's contents came as a surprise this month since the March box information hasn't been updated on the Glossybox website. But I just adore everything in this month's box!

When Glossybox stated on Facebook that we'd receive one of three items from Alex And Ani, I was really hoping I'd get the soap. You could have instead received their hand cream or body mist. I am so excited to try this soap out even though I usually opt to use body wash. This soap sounds amazing-it contains Shea Butter and Coconut Oil! Plus the warm spice and sweet floral scent smells divine!! I can't wait for my next shower!

 

ALTERNA HAIRCARE Bamboo Volume Plumping Strand Expand

I love Alterna products! And I can use anything that can make my hair feel thicker and give it more volume, so I can't wait to try this out!
 

 

ETRE BELLE COSMETICS Liplift Peel

My lips have been a bit dry lately, so the timing of this is perfect! I can definitely use a product like this to exfoliate. Plus it's full size!

 

NAILS INC Brook Street Nail Polish

By now I've tried a couple of polishes from Nails Inc, so I'm excited to add this one to my collection. This baby polish is so cute!! It's definitely a color I'd have picked out for myself.

 

SISLEY PARIS Black Rose Cream Mask

I love masks and rose scented products, so I'm super excited to try this out! I love getting to try luxury products like this, but I would never buy this for myself due to the outrageous price tag.
 

 

Bonus Item: ALEX AND ANI Charm Bangle (Swan)

The box would have been awesome on its own, but this bonus item was the icing on the cake!  I like that their jewelry is made in America and just love the meaning behind the Swan symbol. While I wouldn't have purchased this piece on my own, it will make a great addition to my jewelry collection. I think it'd look great stacked with some other bracelets. I checked out their website and am now in love with the Metallic Daze Set of 6 from the Starry-Eyed & Raw Collection. I just wish it weren't so expensive!!

This has been the highest valued Glossybox I've received thus far!! And I'm so glad to have received a bracelet that I'll get to treasure once I've used up all the beauty items.

Hey everyone! Today I want to show you my swatches from the polish I got in last month's Glossybox!!

Depending on the lighting it appears as a chocolate wine or a blood red shade. While I like the idea of vampy nail polish, this one wasn't my favorite. I think I prefer to wear black or dark purple shades.

Glossybox December 2013

Today I am so excited to share with you my December Glossybox! I haven't had a chance to try all the products in the box, but I wanted to get this post out before the end of December.  Enjoy!!

I've always heard that these boxes were of a much higher quality than Birchbox. Still, I was quite surprised and impressed with the quality of the box when I received it in the mail! The pale pink box is very sturdy-I'm not surprised many people reuse the boxes for storage or gift wrapping.

I was anticipating getting the famous Glossybox magazine, only to just find a booklet with the product information. I'm not sure if Glossybox is discontinuing the printed issue of the magazine, but you can still access the magazine online via their website.

NAILS INC. (Victoria Polish)

 For a polish addict such as myself, you may be surprised to hear I've never tried this brand!! I've known of it for quite some time, and I've been meaning to check it out though I've never gotten around to it. So I am super excited to get a full size in my box! I will do a separate post on this with swatches for you guys later!!

 

ANATOMICALS (You Need A Blooming Shower!)

At first I thought this might be a full size product due to it's large size, but it turns out it's half of a full size. But this is such a generous sample size and I already know I love this body cleanser from only one use! It smells divine-the rose scent is so luxurious and you can't beat the price for the amount of product you get!! I am definitely interested in trying other products from this line!!

 

NAOBAY (Oxygenating Cream Moisturizing)

While I already have my own skincare routine, I now like getting sample skincare products for use at the gym or my boyfriend's house! Plus, this is another generous sample size-it's more than half the full size!

Another rose scented product! I am loving this hand crème so far-the scent is so pretty and it's a great size to keep in my clutch! The only thing I dislike about this product is the packaging-the lettering isn't centered on the tube.

 

 

MICHAEL TODD TRUE ORGANICS (Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Facial Mask)

I was so excited when I saw I would be receiving this product in my first Glossybox! I had received their Jojoba Charcoal Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub in a former Ipsy bag and really liked it. I'm so happy that I now get the chance to try the mask!!
